For his numerous research and service contributions, the American Association for Aerosol Research elected Professor Pratim Biswas as a Fellow of the Association.
Selected for outstanding contributions to aerosol science and technology through research accomplishments, education, service and technical achievements, Professor Biswas has more than 200 journal publications and has made many contributions to the advancement of aerosol science and technology.
Professor Biswas has graduated 35 doctoral students, many of who are contributing to the field. In 2006, he served as President of the American Association for Aerosol Research and was the Conference Chair and Technical Chair for the 1996 Annual Meeting, and the 2006 International Aerosol Conference.

Professor Biswas is the Chairman of the Department of Energy, Environmental & Chemical Engineering at Washington University. He has more than 200 publications, has presented several invited presentations nationally and internationally and hold four patents.
